MY LEGEND 77M
In joint collaboration with Verkerk Yachting Projects, the ice-breaking tug MV GIANT underwent a unique conversion from 2014 to 2015. Upon completion, the vessel was renamed MY LEGEND and she is now one of the first ice-capable yachts with Lloyds 1A Ice Class!
ICON is proud to have launched the 77m MY LEGEND in March 2015 after extensive refit works carried out alongside the conversion. Finishing the project within a relatively short delivery time is quite impressive when considering more than 100t of steel and aluminium were renewed. Her hull was lengthened at the stern by 3.6m. Unlike any other yacht in the world she is a really unique explorer vessel.
ICON is proud to have been leading the complete redesign with our naval architects and engineering team of experts here in Harlingen. Her solid exterior with its ice-strengthened hull belies the elegant luxurious interiors. Relaxation in the Balinese Spa after diving in Arctic waters has been a highlight of many unforgettable voyages. MY LEGEND can accomodate 26 guests in a total of 13 individual staterooms.
